Google is just announcing some new music options. There is an “All Access” music service for $9.99/month, but if you sign-up you can get a month free. In other words if you want to get some free music for a month, go for it. I don’t know the details about cancelling before that $9.99 fee kicks in, so read the fine print about the free trial. Apparently there is a free ad-based option. In addition, if you sign-up before June 30th you get $2 off the monthly fee. This works on android smartphones, tablets and via and web browser. It’s now available in the USA with other countries rolling out soon!

There is no shortage of sources to get the latest and greatest songs and music. Everyone is joining the game! Now it’s Google’s turn. The most exciting aspect of Google is that most times their prices are hard to beat. Expect to get the most music for the cheapest price. Google is poised to announce their music streaming service according to reports. So far Google has signed licensing deals with Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment. Add those names to the Warner Music Group and you have a very deep selection of music coming to Google platforms. I’ve recently read a review of the iOS songs app, Songza 3.0. Don’t worry Android has a version also but it hasn’t been updated to 3.0 yet. Let’s get the important stuff out of the way about this music app if you’re new to it. It’s FREE to listen. As the reviewer on CNET states, it’s confusing how this is possible, but it’s true.
